I completed that quest, we had a really powerful tank warrior with us with some really good regen skills. I also had some pretty powerful fire spells with me at the time.
It literally took us 15 minutes or so just to beat him alone, not including the rest of the mission. Was totally worth it though. |

i kinda like fighting him. its a challenge... but a different one. usually its "beat them fast coz they'll kill us in 2 hits!!!" but now its "do enough damage to take him out before he heals... again!"
just makes a change |

Need damage output
I just tried him as a 14th W/Mo along with my Brother who is a 13 R/E. We had 4 henchmen with us from Yaks. We could get to him rather easily, the problem was, he couldnt hurt us, and we couldnt out damage him because as soon as he gets down to near half way he heals up, continuously. He hits like a little girl, so my advice is make sure you bring a lot of damage output with you. Otherwise you're going to stand there all day trading minor scratches and heal spells.

lol Maker that was the EXACT problem i had. Could get him to the last 'r' in his name on health... then he'd heal! and sometimes we'd get him to the e... and then he'd heal! damn him. But the right skills and he goes down no prob

Well we brought him down at last. Brought 2 rangers, 2 elementalists, and two warriors...not a primary monk in the bunch...which made my job as the only healer that much more interesting. Especially since I only memmed orisons healing. None the less, it worked like a charm.

A friend and I took him down with a couple henchmen easily in a minute or so, all we needed was for me to go back to town and pick up disrupting chop (which is part of my build anyway but I was too lazy to buy it earlier).
